Educated
and trained in Bangladesh, USA, Japan and Norway, Quazi
takes pride in his excellent track record in consulting,
training, and action research in the areas of organizational
and human resources development for private, nonprofit and
public sectors for the last 13 years. His recent clients
include, but are not limited to ILO, UNDP, Gameenphone, DHL,
Ericsson, A2I Project at Chief Advisor’s Office, and
Katalyst.
Dubbed a
social entrepreneur by the US-based nonprofit Ashoka, Quazi
was elected an Ashoka Affiliate in 2004 for his
contributions to youth development in Bangladesh.

A former teacher of North South University, Quazi is the CEO
of FutureLeaders - a consultancy, research and training firm
which is serving the needs of private and development
sectors. Quazi has presentation experiences in USA (at NYU),
UK (at Said Business School, Oxford University), Switzerland
(ILO headquarters), India and Nepal as part of his
professional involvement as conference presenter or
consultant. Apart from leading the team at FutureLeaders, he
makes time to serve as a national consultant of ILO’s Urban
Informal Economy and as adviser to Better Business, Katalyst.
On the voluntary scene, Quazi
was president of JCI Bangladesh’s Dhaka East Chapter in 2001
and was an active EC member of American Alumni Association
(AAA) couple of years back. In June 2008, He has been
elected as an EC Member of the IBA Alumni Association. Quazi
appeared on electronic media (BTV, Channel-I, ATN, Bangla
Vision, RTV) as a guest on several occasions to discuss
leadership, management and youth issues.

Iqbal, COO of FutureLeaders, is known for his management and
analytical skills to diagnose problems and devise viable
solutions. His interpersonal and communication skills have
allowed him to develop productive working relationships and
excellent rapport with the many constituents served by our
company including clients, employers, and other professional
organizations. Graduating from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural
University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in Agriculture he gained his
postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management from
University of Derby, UK. More recently he has been trained
on International Trade Process & Related Supply Chain
Management and Leadership & Teambuilding from School of
Business, University of Derby, UK. |

Iqbal
is recognised for his experience and expertise, for creating
innovative learning and development solutions and for his
entrepreneurial skills. His client experience is impressive,
having worked for government and private sectors both in the
UK and Bangladesh.
He is an experienced facilitator and trainer, having
designed and led management development programmes in most
aspects of customer strategy, leadership and team work.
Outside work Iqbal enjoys traditional foods, movies and has
a passion for travel. |

Samia
earned her Bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of
Windsor, Canada and having worked over a year in Toronto it
occurred to her that her grass was greener in Bangladesh
where she could make a difference by applying her talents in
marketing and people skills, among others. It didn’t take
long to discover her career niche when she comfortably
blended her ‘hard skills’ in ICTs with soft skills of
management and development consulting. Ever since she joined
FLS, she has been a passionate contributor in client
relations, outbound training design, proposal writing and
training follow-ups. To complement her challenging work
experience, she is currently pursuing an MBA program with
major in marketing.
Outside
work, Samia enjoys spending time with family and friends;
she simply loves traveling. |

Sohel Mahmud

Sohel joined FutureLeaders as Program Associate
in December 2007.
His pragmatic approach to development is based
on up-to-date knowledge of the appropriate theories
underpinned by considerable personal experience as a
facilitator. His solution-oriented approach to program
design, combined with in-depth knowledge of facilitating
development projects, enable him to design highly successful
training programs, which adds real value to our clients.
Sohel has graduated from BUET with a B.Sc. (Hons.)
in Civil Engineering, combined with a background in
Transportation. He has recently started his Master’s in
Development Studies at East West University.

Outside work, Sohel enjoys music, sports and travel in and
outside Bangladesh. |

Laboni
Sarker ( Chatoki)

Recently Chatoki joined FutureLeaders as Program Coordinator
but she has been working here as a student volunteer since
2004. As a result she had the opportunity to work for
FutureLeaders for many years now to assist and coordinate
training and workshops. Her client
experience is impressive, having worked for some of the most
well-known programs we did for universities and companies in
Bangladesh.
Her current role involves developing training module and
maintaining FLS resource data base. She is highly motivated
to add values in FLS research and knowledge management work
by her special expertise on statistical analysis and
knowledge management.

Having graduated from
Dhaka
University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Statistics in 2008,
she works alongside Iqbal and Sraboni to ensure that all
research and background activities are of the highest
quality and in line with FutureLeaders values.
Outside work, Chatoki enjoys her home and family, shopping,
traveling, music and films. |
